Data Protection Policy

RADIO ORO’s data protection and privacy policy is governed by compliance with current personal data protection legislation, as laid down in the new Regulation and the guidelines developed by the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

At RADIO ORO, we are committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the personal data we process. To demonstrate our ongoing compliance with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we have taken the following accountability measures:

1. We have appointed our Data Protection Officer.

2. We have analysed all processing operations and prepared records of processing activities, both our own and those for which we act as a processor.

3. We have reviewed and adapted the legal bases for processing to comply with the GDPR.

4. We have analysed the risks affecting personal data processing carried out both for ourselves and for our clients, and prepared appropriate plans to reduce those risks to an acceptable level.

5. We have established procedures to prevent personal data breaches and to report them without delay if they occur.

Who is responsible for processing your data?

The information you provide by email, through our website, by telephone, through forms or otherwise, where necessary to deliver our service, will be processed by RADIO ORO, whose address and contact details are included at the beginning of this legal notice. Our Data Protection Officer’s email address is info@radiooro.es

Why do we process your personal data?

To manage relationships with our employees, clients and suppliers, provide the contracted services, and maintain our business relationships and customer loyalty activities.

To receive commercial information from our company, you must have given your express consent. We will contact you through the channel you have provided.

Data held for commercial communications will be retained until the data subject exercises their right to erasure.

Employee, client and supplier data will be retained for the duration of the business and contractual relationship, or for the years necessary to meet legal obligations.

We do not receive or store CVs unless we have an open recruitment process. Once the process closes, the data provided by candidates will be destroyed in both paper and digital form.

Information about students from institutions undertaking training or placements at our company is retained for as long as necessary to meet legal obligations.

RADIO ORO does not make automated data-based decisions, carry out profiling or apply associated logic.

We intend to process the information collected solely for the specified purposes and will not subsequently process it in a way incompatible with those purposes. If further processing for a different purpose is envisaged, the data subject will be consulted and must approve it.

What is the legal basis for processing your data?

Our relationships with employees are based on an employment contract. RADIO ORO is the data controller.

Commercial communications and open recruitment processes are based on the consent provided by the individuals concerned.

Who receives your data?

We do not intend to disclose your data to third parties except where required by law or where necessary to invoice the service.

We work with other companies to provide our services. In such cases, we provide only the data needed to deliver the subcontracted services.

We do not envisage international transfers of data.

What rights do you have when you provide your data?

You have the right to obtain confirmation of whether RADIO ORO is processing your personal data. You may access your personal data, correct inaccurate information or request erasure when the data is no longer necessary. You may also request restriction of processing and exercise your right to data portability. To do so, contact RADIO ORO by email at info@radiooro.es. In all cases, you must prove your identity using an identification document.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.agpd.es) and, beforehand, with RADIO ORO’s Data Protection Officer.
